We work on the measurement side of mobile networks — establishing what a network is actually doing, and what should change as a result.
What we do
Hetnet Wireless Technologies provides radio frequency engineering services to mobile network operators and to the infrastructure and managed service partners who build and maintain their networks. Our work spans field measurement, performance analysis, optimisation and the reporting that closes out a piece of work formally.
The company was established in February 2024, is based in Subang Hi-Tech and operates nationwide across Malaysia.
How we approach an engagement
Radio measurement produces a great deal of data and comparatively little insight. The difference between the two is method: what was measured, under what conditions, against which thresholds, and what a deviation actually implies. We treat that method as the deliverable, with the report as its record.

Scope
Site list, KPI definitions, thresholds and reporting template are confirmed in writing before any collection begins.

Collect
Field measurement is carried out to the agreed route and configuration, with conditions and deviations logged as they occur.

Analyse
Logs are post-processed and correlated against network counters so findings are attributed to a cause rather than described as a symptom.

Report
Findings, recommendations, method and limitations are issued together, with the raw data handed over alongside.
Technology coverage
We work across the generations currently carrying traffic in Malaysian networks — GSM, UMTS/WCDMA, LTE and 5G NR — and assess them as a single radio environment rather than in isolation. Interworking and mobility behaviour between layers is frequently where a user-visible problem originates, so it stays in scope by default.
Working with us
Engagements are scoped individually. Some are a single verification exercise against a defined set of sites; others are a recurring optimisation programme running alongside an operator's own team. In either case the engineer who scopes the work stays with it through delivery.
If you are assessing whether we are a fit for a specific piece of work, the most useful thing to send is the reporting template and acceptance criteria you already use. It tells us more than a requirements document.
